Operating in Palmerston North and its rural outskirts, we specialize in the manufacturing and distribution of steel roofing materials. The role: Are you a road wizard with a spotless class 1 license and a knack for top-notch service? We need you to be the friendly face of our Palmerston team, spreading smiles and positivity wherever you go. Beyond driving you will dive into factory action, supporting our senior operators in the factory. From machine mastery to prepping orders, you will be our all-star- team player! Our deliveries span from Palmerston to its surrounding areas, while we provide on-the-job training, familiarity with the local terrain is a plus. The tasks you will be responsible of: Loading, unloading, and delivering with UTE and trailer Pickups & deliveries to customers Supporting the production team when required Maintaining good and productive relationships with our customers Assisting with dispatch paperwork To be successful in this role, you MUST have / be: Clean Full Class 1 Drivers Licence is a MUST Experience driving a UTE and trailer Current Forkhoist Licence Physically fit, strong & happy to be moving most of the day Great customer service & excellent communication skills Presentable, friendly and approachable Familiar with the surrounding area in Feilding & Palmerston North Experience in steel handling would be an advantage The Company: The Roofing Store is a New Zealand owned and operated company, producing superior high-quality lightweight roofing solutions.
