Call Center Officer

Job Description:

Contact Energy is seeking a reliable and passionate Call Center Officer to join our team in Dunedin, Otago, NZ. As an Associate Level employee, you will be responsible for handling inbound and outbound customer calls, providing excellent customer service, resolving customer queries and issues, and promoting our products and services.

Responsibilities: 1. Answering incoming calls and responding to customer inquiries in a professional and efficient manner. 2. Making outbound calls to follow up with customers, conduct surveys, and promote company offerings. 3. Resolving customer complaints and issues, providing solutions and escalating when necessary. 4. Maintaining accurate and up-to-date customer records in the database. 5. Working collaboratively with team members to achieve call center targets and objectives. 6. Demonstrating leadership skills by providing guidance and support to junior team members. 7. Participating in ongoing training and development programs to enhance skills and knowledge. 8. Contributing to corporate social responsibility initiatives to give back to the community.

Requirements: 1. Minimum of 3 years of experience in a call center or customer service role. 2. Excellent communication skills and a customer-centric approach. 3. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously. 4. Strong teamwork skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with colleagues. 5. Leadership capabilities to guide and mentor junior team members. 6. Proficiency in using CRM systems and other call center software. 7. High school diploma or equivalent education required.
