Job Description AFFCO Napier are looking for someone to work as an amenity cleaner at our plant located in Napier.  As a amenities cleaner you will be responsible for cleaning the amenities of our factory, including toilets and showers, lunch rooms and locker rooms, working in the laundry and various other cleaning duties as needed. Key requirements include: Being a friendly, approachable team-player The ability to work night shift if needed A good work ethic and a can-do attitude A proven track record of being reliable and punctual Demonstrating excellent time management Ability to follow instructions and work unsupervised Adherence to Health and safety requirements including the correct wearing of PPE. This role will be part-time, approximately 22 hours per week to be worked: 2.30 pm – 6.30 pm (approx.) Tuesday to Friday 7.30 am to finish 2pm (approx.) Saturday No experience required as full training will be provided, However, cleaning experience is advantageous; alternatively, experience in a manufacturing-type environment would also be considered. Applicants must be eligible to work in New Zealand. Qualifications Be able to communicate verbal and written English. Be well presented, proactive and able to work well on own. Be able to follow instructions. Have an eye for detail. Be able to pass Police and Ministry of Justice checks. Drug testing is part of our Health & Safety requirements.
