Permanent Full Time Cluster Sales Manager
Responsible for developing new business opportunities and maintaining account relationships

Responsibilities • Developing new business opportunities for both Sofitel Wellington and Sofitel Auckland Viaduct Harbour
• Building and maximizing client/business relationships
• Undertaking direct sales activity to convert business
• Maintaining health and safety standards in the hotel
• Ensuring the hotel runs smoothly
• Conducting proactive sales activity to secure new business
• Increasing business mix from individual accounts
• Maximizing leads and opportunities for C&E, corporate, association, and government business
• Researching and defining new revenue generation
• Managing a portfolio of multiple account relationships
• Preparing and executing creative sales strategies
• Representing the hotels at trade shows, seminars, and promotional activities/events
• Organizing and hosting on-site client entertainment, site inspections, and familiarization visits
• Managing corporate RFP submissions
• Coordinating and producing conference and incentive collateral material
• Initiating C&E focused promotions
• Participating in promotional and joint venture opportunities
• Adhering to Emergency Communication procedures
• Maintaining awareness of industry trends
• Initiating contacts and establishing rapport easily
• Organizing time and work efficiently
• Communicating effectively in English
• Predicting future needs
• Working according to the demands of the business
Requirements • Leadership experience within a hotel and collaborating with business stakeholders
• Minimum 1-3 years' experience in a similar role, preferably including 5-star experience
• Understanding of C&E sales and corporate sales/account management
• Understanding of luxury guest expectations
• Good understanding of Microsoft Office applications
• Professional image and interpersonal skills
• Awareness of industry trends in service, product, and presentation
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English
• Strategic thinker
