Job Description - Contact Center Associate

Job Description:


Northwestern Mutual is seeking a motivated and hardworking Contact Center Associate to join our team in Nelson, NZ. As an Associate Level Contact Center Associate, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service and support to clients through various communication channels, including phone, email, and chat. This role requires critical thinking and problem-solving skills to effectively address customer inquiries and concerns.


Responsibilities: 1. Interact with clients to provide information, address inquiries, and resolve issues in a professional and timely manner. 2. Utilize critical thinking skills to assess situations and determine the best course of action to meet customer needs. 3. Collaborate with team members to ensure excellent service delivery and consistency in communication. 4. Maintain accurate records of interactions and follow-up on customer inquiries as needed. 5. Identify opportunities for process improvement and communicate feedback to management. 6. Stay up-to-date on product knowledge and company policies to provide accurate information to clients. 7. Meet performance metrics and goals related to customer satisfaction, response times, and resolution rates.


Requirements: 1. 2 years of experience in a customer service or contact center role. 2. Strong communication skills, both verbal and written. 3. Ability to multitask and prioritize workload in a fast-paced environment. 4. Excellent problem-solving abilities and critical thinking skills. 5. Motivated and hardworking attitude with a passion for helping others. 6. Proficiency in Microsoft Office and CRM software. 7. High school diploma or equivalent.
