We are seeking skilled Electricians who are passionate about building and maintaining electrical infrastructure. This role requires proficiency in a variety of settings, from design and engineering of electrical systems to hands-on installation and maintenance. Other opportunities are available in different regions if you are not based in Canterbury.Responsibilities:Install, maintain, and repair electrical power systems across a variety of projects including overhead lines, underground cables, substations, and telecommunications infrastructure.Work collaboratively with the design and engineering teams to ensure specifications and safety standards are met.Respond to outages and perform necessary repairs and upgrades under varying conditions.Conduct regular inspections and perform system diagnostics to prevent disruptions and ensure efficiency.Comply with all safety protocols and regulatory requirements, while ensuring onsite Health and Safety expectations are met.Provide detailed documentation and reports on maintenance activities and project progress.What You Need:Certified Electrician with experience in industrial or utility-scale electrical projects.Strong understanding of electrical systems, including design, installation, and maintenance.Proven ability to work in diverse environments and adapt to changing project demands.Effective communication and teamwork skills.Brownie Points for:Strong problem-solving skills and meticulous attention to detail.Effective communication and ability to work collaboratively.Willingness to travel across service locations as required.This role is ideal for a dynamic electrician who seeks to contribute to significant infrastructure projects and enjoys working in a team-oriented environment.
