Our company specialise in Automotive inspections, freight and logistics internationally. Reporting to the National Sales Manager, the Sales Representative's, purpose is to: Act as Moana Blue's New Zealand face to South Island customers, ensuring quality service and effective sales management of current and prospective customers. Contribute to the ongoing success and growth of the Moana Blue business through effective lead generation, sales negotiation and understanding of market trends. Deliver excellent Sales partnering across Moana Blue through collaboration with an engaged team of Sales professionals who consistently exceed expectations, add value through providing effective Sales and account management, advice and services. Embrace a high performance and continuous improvement attitude, support the strategic and operational decision-making process. Feedback on key insights in to the local market in the South Island. Working with an excellent sales coordinator to identify where opportunities may arise and feedback on how these opportunities could develop. As a key contributor within Moana Blue this position takes an active interest in all aspects of the organisation and the wider industry. Key Result Area Expected Outcomes / Performance Indicators – Position Specific: Provide effective account and sales management of all customers within an allocated region In partnership with the National Sales Manager, develop and execute the overall Sales Strategy in line with the strategic direction. Support the overall success of Moana Blue's market share and awareness through championing our brand and promoting the services and experience to current and future customers. Customer Acquisition and Retention Create customers who are 'Raving Fans' Increase customer retention through 'stickiness'. Through the use of SalesForce CRM build awareness around customer insights, opportunities and new business opportunities. Deliver a brand experience that articulates and promotes the Moana Blue brand and creates customers who are 'Raving Fans': Gain more business from existing customers. New customer acquisition Champion a cross-collaboration ethos across all parts of your work Customer relationship building Regular customer visits and entertainment for the purpose of acquisition, retention and relationship building. Gain an in-depth understanding of our customers: Identify areas for service improvement. Identify opportunities for integration and service solutions. Understand what is important to customers and what drives them as business owners to ensure our brand experience is in alignment. Authorities Staff Management None Budget Accountability Per Delegated Authority Policy Delegations Per Delegated Authority Policy Matters Which must be referred to the National Sales Manager of Moana Blue All HR, legal, contractual and Expenditure decisions above the level specified for the employee in the Company's Delegated Authority policy. Any decision on customer rates or services which lies outside of specified guidelines. Confidentiality Situations may often call for tact, diplomacy and will require information to be handled in a discreet and sensitive manner. Discretion is required to be exercised in releasing confidential information to the appropriate parties. Relationships External All South Island Customers (current and potential) Select shipping agent partners Internal Chief Executive Officer General Manager New Zealand Operations Japan-based Sales Team Corporate Services including Finance & Administration, HR, IT and Health & Safety.
