Graphic Design and Marketing Coordinator Black Origin WagyuChristchurch Central, CanterburyMarketing Assistants/Coordinators (Marketing & Communications)We are a fast-growing Wagyu Beef company (blackorigin.co.nz) and we're on the hunt for a dynamic Graphic Design & Marketing Coordinator to join our marketing team!The ideal candidate will be deeply passionate about the food industry and possess strong skills in graphic design and social media administration. Additionally, experience in video and photo production/editing, copywriting, and website administration is highly valued.This is a full-time role that will work across a range of marketing areas and will play a crucial part in supporting our Marketing team to execute marketing campaigns, enhancing brand visibility, and driving engagement with our target audience. It's an opportunity to showcase your marketing skills, learn new abilities, and grow with us.Duties and responsibilitiesGraphic Design:Utilize design software like Illustrator, InDesign, Photoshop, and Canva to craft animations, artwork, and imagery for diverse marketing materials.Collaborate with various teams and brand directors to maintain consistency in brand style across all marketing collateral.Social Media & Content Creation:Manage social media accounts for various brands, including content creation, copywriting, posting updates, and engaging with followers.Create, edit, and produce video and photo content for social media platforms, websites, and other marketing channels.Coordinate external photo and video shoots, ensuring alignment with brand guidelines.Website Management:Assist in the maintenance, updates, and enhancement of websites to optimize performance and user experience.Promotional Campaigns and Events:Assist with development and execution of marketing campaigns, email marketing, online advertising, and content marketing initiatives.Provide support for marketing events and activations as needed.Collaboration and Support:Liaise with cross-functional teams to align marketing initiatives with overall business objectives.Attend regular meetings with the marketing team and external partners, providing reports and updates on marketing campaigns and projects.Skills, experience and educationHave previous marketing experience, at least 2-3 years.Expertise with design software's, such as Illustrator, Photoshop & InDesign.Experience with social media, content creation, and photos/videos edition.Be well organised, time efficient and process driven.Have excellent written and verbal communication skills, and an ability to work independently and self-manage.Have a positive and proactive attitude, attention to detail, and a strong team collaboration spirit.Other requirements:Hold a valid NZ driver's license to commute to various work sites and events as needed.Be open to occasional business travels, including weekends, for marketing and food-related events.Opportunities for career progression within our growing company.Join a supportive and dedicated team.Receive training and mentorship.Enjoy on-site massages, product discounts, and special employee lunch pricing.Health insurance benefits after 12 months of full-time employment.If you're ready to blend your marketing skills with your love for food in a dynamic environment, we want to hear from you!
