As part of your internship programme you willcomplete a research project, with guidance, which will be presented eitherin-house or at the NZHPA conference.The department provides regular continuingeducation and numerous other training opportunities which we expect our internsto take part in.Each intern has onepreceptor for the year, but many pharmacy staff are involved with the trainingboth in-house and on the wards, so a wide variety of experience is gained.Wealso organise a rotation to a community pharmacy for OTC experience.The days and hoursassociated with the position are Monday - Friday, 8.00am - 4.30pm.
