Someone who's not just cooking but dancing with flavour, ensuring our cuisine waltzes perfectly with market trends and customer cravings, all while keeping the budget in check.Key Responsibilities:Supervision: Hands-on oversight of the restaurant food service operations on a day-to-day basis.Customer Satisfaction: Meet and exceed customer and guest expectations, establishing the Food & Beverage operation as a consistent provider of quality and value-for-money cuisine.Standards: Ensure that food standards, preparation, presentation, and cooking techniques adhere to Brand Standard guidelines. Take corrective action when necessary to maintain these standards.Innovation: Strive for continual innovation in food offerings, ensuring a focus on quality and value for money. Present and serve food in the most appealing and complimentary manner.Hygiene Standards: Maintain the highest standard of hygiene throughout the kitchen brigade to comply with Health & Safety regulations and HACCP food preparation guidelines.Positive Work Environment: Foster a positive work environment that encourages learning and personal development, driving quality improvement.Collaboration: Work closely with the Head Chef., Restaurant and Bar Manager and Supervisors to achieve food and beverage operational objectives.Team Coordination: Coordinate with the stewarding team to meet the kitchen's requirements effectively.Emergency Communication: Adhere to Emergency Communication procedures, ensuring that media inquiries are responded to only by the nominated spokesperson.Adaptability: Undertake any other duties assigned by your Manager with a proactive and adaptable approach.Accor Values: Strive to implement the Accor Pacific Service Vision and actively demonstrate the use of Accor Values.The annual remuneration for this role is $68,000 NZD. This is a full-time position requiring a commitment of 40 hours per week.QualificationsYour professional journey and skill set should showcase:A minimum of 2 years of hands-on kitchen experience, demonstrating your culinary prowess as a Chef de Partie or Junior Sous Chef (preferred).Preferably, you've honed your skills in the dynamic setting of a large hotel or commercial kitchen, showcasing your ability to handle the heat in a bustling culinary environment.A Certificate in Cookery, your education complements your practical experience, making you a well-rounded culinary expert (preffered).Collaborative team player, working seamlessly as an integral part of a culinary team.Flexibility: Your availability spans a 7-day roster, effortlessly managing both morning and evening shifts with finesse.Passion to deliver an outstanding culinary experience every time.Your passion extends to an unwavering commitment to quality and presentation, setting a benchmark in every dish you create.If you're ready to turn up the heat and join the culinary party at Ibis Wellington, we want to hear from you!
