Marketing/Social Media Manager, HR Coordinator, and Function Coordinator Reporting to the owners, you will be responsible for a diverse range of tasks encompassing marketing, social media management, HR coordination, and function coordination.Duties and Responsibilities:Creation of the overall marketing and communications for the business:Social media management across multiple venues, on two main platforms.In-house marketing and coordination with the restaurant/bar managers for specials, promotions, signage, and TV ads.Ensuring all content is created in line with the businesses brand.Adhering to any regulatory guidelines.Help develop external marketing such as newspaper and radio ads.Monitor and manage reporting of activities and effectiveness of campaigns to the owners, including analysing social media insights to guide future campaigns.Social media management:Planning and running the organization's social media accounts, including Facebook and Instagram.Monitor and respond to comments, messages, emails and voicemails.Design and create digital assets for use in marketing material.Design and create print marketing materials as required by the strategic plan and owners.HR Coordination:Handling aspects of HR including onboarding, contract management, and staff coordination alongside the restaurant/bar managers and owners.Coordinate contract renewals, amendments, and terminations as required, following legal and organizational procedures.Keep abreast of relevant employment laws and regulations to ensure compliance in contract management processes.Coordinate staff activities, including training sessions, evaluations, and scheduling, in collaboration with the restaurant/bar managers and owners.Identify opportunities for process improvement and support the implementation of HR initiatives to enhance organizational efficiency and employee satisfaction.Function Coordination:Overall responsibility for the profitable operation and organisation of functions held at the establishment/venue.Developing and implementing all booking and function management systems, policies, and procedures.Manage 'Now Book It' system.Act as the main contact point for clients prior to and during functions.Manage staff requirements and ensure staffing levels meet forecasted business needs.Communication between customers, kitchen, management, and staff.Undertaking marketing plan for functions, if required.Handling compliance with security procedures and host responsibility practices.Generate daily booking sheets as needed and print the run sheet for the day's kitchen/floor operations.PREFERRED COMPETENCIESTECHNICAL:National Certificate in Food & Beverage Service (Level 4), or equivalent.Hold General Manager Certificate (Sale and Supply of Alcohol Act).Computer skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Canva/Adobe, Later, Facebook Business, Facebook and Instagram.Bachelor's degree in Business or Commerce majoring in marketing.Marketing experience in the hospitality industry.Experience in hospitality events/functions management.Knowledge of employment agreements.INTERPERSONAL & PERSONAL SKILLS:Excellent communication skills (written and oral).Motivational and leadership skills.The ability to work independently and confidently, to make decisions.Problem-solving ability to resolve issues.Ability to delegate and give instructions.Committed to team, establishment, and excellence.A positive attitude, self-driven and collaborative.Ability to work competently under pressure.Reliable & flexible to change.NECESSARY COMPETENCIES:Marketing experience.Work within hospitality.Experience in organizing and managing events/functions.Proficiency in social media management, including Facebook and Instagram.Ability to create engaging content and maintain brand standards across multiple platforms.Strong organizational and time management skills to handle diverse tasks efficiently.Flexibility and adaptability to work in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.Willingness to collaborate with team members and contribute to a positive work culture.Open-minded and willing to undertake tasks outside of the role description within the business.Exceptional communication skills to interact effectively with kitchen, clients/customers, accountants, owners, restaurant/bar managers and staff.Commitment to delivering high-quality service and ensuring customer satisfaction.Marketing experience and a background in hospitality/events are essential prerequisites for applicants, with no HR experience required.Training alongside our current employee for one week starting mid-June, with independent work commencing on June 24th.Applications close on May 27th.
