Online Contact Center Officer

Job Description:

United Rentals is seeking a motivated and resourceful Online Contact Center Officer to join our team in Napier, Hawke's Bay, NZ. As an Associate Level role, the ideal candidate will have at least 3 years of experience in a similar position.

Responsibilities: 1. Manage incoming inquiries through various online communication channels, including emails, live chat, and social media platforms. 2. Provide information about products and services, answer questions, and resolve customer issues in a timely and professional manner. 3. Utilize persuasive communication skills to drive sales and promote customer satisfaction. 4. Collaborate with team members to ensure consistent and high-quality customer service. 5. Maintain accurate customer records and update databases as needed. 6. Monitor and report on key performance indicators related to response times, customer satisfaction, and sales conversions. 7. Stay up-to-date on industry trends and best practices to continuously improve performance.

Requirements: 1. Bachelor's degree in a related field is preferred. 2. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal. 3. Strong persuasion skills to effectively convey information and guide customers towards desired outcomes. 4. Ability to work well under pressure and handle multiple tasks simultaneously. 5. Proficiency in using online communication tools and customer relationship management software. 6. Resourceful and confident in navigating complex customer inquiries to find solutions. 7. Prior experience in a customer service or sales role is a plus.
