Registered Nurse – Lakes District Lakes District Hospital Salary Band – $81,600 0 $106,000 p.a. pro-rata + Kiwisaver Work with a great team in wonderful Central Otago Fixed term position to September 2025 0.8 FTE (32 hours per week) Competitive salary Mo te turanga | About the role You will be responsible for providing a high standard of nursing care to all patients, using knowledge-based practise and a holistic nursing approach, in accordance with quality and legislative requirements. This is a fixed term position to cover a period of parental leave. Mou ake | About you The successful applicants must have the ability to initiate and accept responsibility, work autonomously where appropriate or necessary and be able to function well in a multidisciplinary team. We're looking for a registered nurse with 3 years or greater post grad experience, you will also have: A current New Zealand Registration and APC. Previous Emergency Department experience. Excellent assessment skills. Strong communication skills and the ability to quickly develop a rapport with patients and their whanau/family.
