Ngā mōhiohioe pā ana ki tēnei mahi (About this position) You will be providing excellent service to ourOphthalmology patients by administering intravitreal injections, working in ophthalmologyclinic and assessing and preparing patients for ophthalmic procedures. This is a permanentposition, working 64 hours a fortnight, rostered Monday to Sunday betweenthe hours of 0800 - 1800, supporting our multi-disciplinary ophthalmology team madeup of Registered Nurses, Specialist Clinical Nurses, a Clinical Nurse Specialist, Optometrist, Orthoptist,Ophthalmology technician, Registrars and Senior Medical Officers. (Who is anappropriate applicant?)You will have the following skills andexperience : Recent ophthalmology experience Credentialed to administer intravitrealinjections - preferable but not necessary Acommitment to providing a quality service and being part of a high performingteam Versatilityand flexibility CurrentRegistered Nurse registration and NZNC practising certificate.This rolewould suit a nurse who thrives in a fast-pacedenvironment, has great assessment and time management skills, is confident intheir practice, can work autonomously and can relate well to a wide variety ofstakeholders including patients, families and our multidisciplinary teams.
