Job Title: Registered Nurse | Surgical InpatientsLocation: AucklandHours: Rostered on 8-hour shifts across 24/7.Salary: $39.30 ph to $51.35 ph plus paid PDRP and excellent benefits packageAbout This OpportunityOur client is New Zealand's largest private surgical facility with 22 theatres (and growing) across three sites, including an Intensive Care Unit and Coronary Care facilities. They offer a variety of surgical specialities, which include Orthopaedic/Spinal, Colorectal/Gastro, Gynae, Urology, Neurology, Oncology, Plastics (including flaps), ENT/ORL, Head & Neck, and Cardiac/Vascular for both adults and children. They are looking for RNs with ideally current inpatient surgical nursing experience for full-time or part-time permanent positions. Alternatively, you can choose a fixed term (if you prefer) to work across their Surgical Inpatient Wards where you'll be rostered on 8 hrs shifts 24/7.The primary responsibility of the role, in summary, is admitting patients and preparing them for elective surgical procedures, post-procedure care, and recovery. Assessments Teamwork is essential, and this role would suit a registered nurse who loves a fast-paced environment, is naturally a great multi-tasker, has top-notch time management skills, is team-focused, and most of all, is a team player.
