Call Center Associate

Job Description:

As a Call Center Associate at Dick’s Sporting Goods in Wellington, NZ, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service to individuals calling in with inquiries, concerns, or to place orders. You will use your resourcefulness and energy to assist customers in a timely and efficient manner, ensuring their needs are met and their experience with Dick’s Sporting Goods is a positive one.

Responsibilities: 1. Answering incoming calls and responding to customer inquiries. 2. Assisting customers with placing orders and navigating the website. 3. Resolving customer complaints and issues in a professional and courteous manner. 4. Upselling products and services to customers based on their needs. 5. Providing product information and recommendations to customers. 6. Processing returns and exchanges. 7. Collaborating with other team members to ensure customer satisfaction. 8. Meeting and exceeding performance targets and metrics. 9. Maintaining accurate records of customer interactions.

Requirements: 1. 2 years of experience in a customer service or call center role. 2. Demonstrated ability to think strategically and plan accordingly. 3. Strong persuasion skills to effectively upsell products and services. 4. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal. 5. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and multitask effectively. 6. Proficiency in using computer systems and software. 7. Must be resourceful and energetic in dealing with customers. 8. High school diploma or equivalent.
