THE OPPORTUNITY We are looking for a seasoned coffee professional with a strong sales background, to join our New Zealand wholesale team. This role will ideally be based in Auckland, working from our Grey Lynn roastery and will look after customers Auckland, and upper North Island regions. The core purpose of this role is to seek, acquire, convert, and grow wholesale and b2b relationships, with partners who identify with our company values, love our products as well as manage a portfolio of accounts with business support and training. This is a fast paced, diverse and fun role! You will need to be able to work autonomously as well as within a team environment on a daily basis. Ultimately, you will work alongside our Client Relationship Team, responsible for onboarding new wholesale customers, training café baristas and contributing to the on-going growth of Ozone Coffee Roasters. Do you have the following skills and experience to take on this role? Enjoy proactively seeking new business sales opportunities as well as responding promptly to all account enquiries Passionate about coffee, the hospitality industry and keen to support our customers to grow a profitable and sustainable coffee business Confident and personable with a strong ability to initiate, nurture and maintain relationships with new and existing customers Industry insight, attention to detail and be driven in a competitive market Excellent customer management experience within coffee or hospitality industry preferred Strong initiative, motivation and self-management skills. Able to communicate orally and in writing with a diverse range of people. Proven barista skills and basic technical knowledge of espresso machines and equipment – Some barista training will be part of the job. At least three years’ experience in the hospitality industry including senior level barista experience and customer service / sales skills Ability and willingness to travel throughout New Zealand (with a full driver’s license) as required to meet customer training and account management expectations of our customers Ideally this role will be Auckland based, but we are happy to consider another home base for the right person.
