As a Full Time Registered Nurse at this Idyllic Northern QLD location, you will contribute to a community built age care provider while island hopping in your down time. This medium sized Aged Care facility has been around for long enough to have built up a mature working culture in a facility of over 90 beds and are looking to expand.

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR

• Relevant clinical nursing experience within an aged care environment
• Previous supervisor experience and strong behaviour management skills
• Excellent communicator
• Compassionate and empathetic character
• Team player and if required, can step up and be a team leader
• Good sense of humour (we work with real people, so it helps to be a little bit human)

WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING

• Clinical nursing responsibilities
• Conducting comprehensive oversite of AINs and RNs to ensure care provision is maintained
• Care planning, assessments and medication administering
• Reporting to Care Manager, ensuring that all compliance is maintained
• Liaising with Doctors for continued care
• Supervisor on the floor, ensuring documentation and medication management is completed
