THE ROLE: The purpose of this role is to support the acquisition and retention of our digital subscriptions through proactive, results-driven, and marketing campaign management to help achieve NZME’s digital subscriptions targets. RESPONSIBILITIES: • Digital Subscriber Marketing : execute marketing campaigns from start to finish across various channels, from writing briefs, copy creation and requesting artwork to our in-house creative team, through to booking campaigns, setting up offers and following up the execution making sure campaigns are scheduled and running as planned to achieve budgeted acquisition targets. • Email Marketing: Create eDM campaigns which includes copywriting, setting up the offers, suggesting design & layout to be created, testing, tracking results and monitoring the results. • Subscriber Retention and Engagement: plan and execute win back offers, upsell and upgrade emails as well as the monthly subscriber benefits email, including copywriting, negotiating prizes for competitions, planning and creating the competitions landing page and sign-up forms, managing and communicating with the winners. • Planning & Reporting: Prepare, track and maintain up-to-date records of subscriber marketing campaigns getting insights from the results to optimize the campaigns. ABOUT YOU: • Hands on, proactive and can do attitude. • A tertiary marketing qualification. • Minimum two years’ experience in a fast paced, direct marketing or campaign coordination role. • Experience in digital marketing, paid campaigns or e-commerce would be beneficial. • Proven success and ability to meet marketing KPI’s and targets. • Organization and attention to detail. • Excellent relationship building skills within a team and with client will be essential as is your ability to think of your feet, ask questions and solve problems. • Experience and/or understanding of subscription sales, campaign conversion and metrics would be a bonus.
