Team Leader - Senior Mechanical Engineer - FEA and Asset Integrity Team Lead - Senior Mechanical Engineer – Asset Integrity About Us: Re-Generate, headquartered in Christchurch with an office in New Plymouth, is a leading provider of energy and water solutions, serving a diverse clientele across New Zealand and Australia. With a team of approximately 40 professionals, we specialize in consulting, design, supply, specialist services, and contracting. Whilst we have core operations within the hydro-generation sector, we also extend our expertise to other industries such as geothermal and wind generation, 3 waters, and irrigation. Further Information about Re-Generate can be found at; Role Overview: We are experiencing significant and sustained growth and are currently seeking a highly skilled Mechanical Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess extensive Finite Element Analysis (FEA) experience, along with proven leadership capabilities. Requirements: Experience in team management, technical leadership, and account management Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering 7-10+ years of experience in Advanced FEA within a relevant industry Proficiency with Ansys is preferred; experience with SolidWorks modelling is desirable Expertise in stress analysis, crack analysis, fatigue studies, and Fitness for Service (FFS) assessments Familiarity with Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD), particularly in Fluent is desirable Ability to manage and direct NDT service providers, including site visits Key Attributes: The ideal candidate is a strategic thinker with strong analytical and practical skills, who thrives in a collaborative team environment. Excellent English communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to produce and review high-quality technical reports are essential. Responsibilities: In this multifaceted role, you will engage with various engineering disciplines, collaborating closely with the company's Directors to shape and execute strategic plans within an exciting and evolving industry.
