Web Chat Associate - Remote Work

Job Description:

Expeditors International of Washington is currently seeking a talented and motivated Web Chat Associate to join our team in a remote work capacity based in Tauranga, Bay Of Plenty, NZ. As an Associate Level position, the ideal candidate will have at least 4 years of experience in a customer service or related role.

Responsibilities: - Respond to customer inquiries and issues through web chat in a timely and professional manner - Provide solutions and support to customers with their queries regarding products, services, and orders - Identify and escalate priority issues to the appropriate teams for resolution - Maintain accurate records of customer interactions and transactions - Collaborate with team members to improve processes and customer experience - Participate in ongoing training and professional development opportunities to enhance skills and knowledge - Meet or exceed performance metrics related to response times, customer satisfaction, and resolution rates

Requirements: - Resilient and able to handle high-pressure situations with ease - Independent and able to work effectively in a remote environment - Strong project management and organizational skills - Ability to work well in a team and collaborate effectively with colleagues - Excellent written and verbal communication skills - Proficient in using web chat platforms and CRM systems - Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail
