Operations Associate

Job Description:

GameStop in Hamilton, Waikato, NZ is seeking a passionate and independent Operations Associate to join our team. This part-time, entry-level position offers the opportunity to work in a dynamic and fast-paced environment within the gaming industry. As an Operations Associate, you will play a crucial role in supporting the overall operations of the store and ensuring a seamless customer experience.

Responsibilities: - Assist with inventory management, including receiving shipments, organizing merchandise, and maintaining accurate inventory records - Support the store manager in daily operations, such as opening and closing procedures, cash handling, and customer service - Help create visually appealing displays and signage to attract customers and drive sales - Communicate effectively with team members and customers to provide product information, answer questions, and resolve issues - Ensure the store is clean, organized, and well-maintained at all times - Assist with special projects and events as needed

Requirements: - No prior experience required, but a passion for gaming and retail is a plus - Strong presentation and communication skills - Ability to work independently and as part of a team - High attention to detail and accuracy - Availability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends
