Associate Attorney

Role Definition

Provides legal services to Enterprise Business and non-core business units of PLDT for revenue and other transactions, including preparation, review, and negotiation of contracts pertaining to the telecommunications and value-added services, and other products of Enterprise Business.

Responsibilities

• Lead, perform, and provide legal standards, solutions, and recommendations as a legal expert on Business Contracts to enable, execute, and drive the legal strategies and initiatives of the Revenue Contracts Management center.
• Provide legal services to Enterprise Business and non-core business units of PLDT for revenue and other transactions, including: o preparation, review, and negotiation of contracts pertaining to the telecommunications and value-added services, and other products of Enterprise Business; o provision of opinions on legal issues or matters and rendition of legal advice regarding interpretation of rights and compliance with contractual obligations; o management and resolution of contract issues and pre-litigation disputes in coordination with the Dispute Resolution Management center, as needed; o post-contract management and monitoring to ensure compliance with obligations and observance of key milestones, including service levels, deliverables, payment terms, and renewals; and o development of contract templates and administration of contracts database

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
• Preferably at least 5 to 6 years of experience working in a law firm
• In-house experience is a plus
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Strong legal knowledge
