Position Overview
The Client Operations Manager will be responsible for ensuring daily productivity amongst teammates. They provide a first level degree of escalation and should be able to make strategic systems or process decisions. They are also responsible for immediate teammate development, which includes identifying strengths and weaknesses, and organize necessary trainings, which would lead to further process improvement
What you’ll do at Insight
• Lead a team of Client Operations teammates
• Manage Regional go to markets in conjunction with local senior Manager
• Collaborate and oversee development, communication, and coordination of sales programs help drive incremental business for the organization
• Assist in the creation and documentation of Standard Operating Procedures as well as interdepartmental policies and procedures
• Analyze and report on business metrics including but not limited to: work load statistics and recommend changes in procedures, and training needs
• Oversee the proper execution of Service Level Agreements to ensure they are consistently met or exceeded
• Assist with defining processes/procedures and handle the reporting function in monitoring the quantitative results of the team
• Drive results and assist Senior Manager in driving activity the team is measured on (e.g., SLAs, technical ability, forecasting, feedback, customer service, efficiency and productivity) and support the team with any questions they may have. Provide direction on escalations and other issues that may arise. Ensure proper client coverage is provided at all times
• Prepare, manage and submit sales quotes accurately into the appropriate quote entry system. Research technical information on product requests and ensure access to procurement
• Assist in special projects for clients and our sales teams
• Interacts with internal clients under the guidance of the immediate manager
What you’ll need to join Insight
• Bachelor's degree (B. A.) from a four-year college or university in Human Resources or related field
• 5+ years of relevant work experience
• Consulting, project and change management skills and the ability to work effectively with a cross-functional team are critical
• Demonstrated proficiency with Microsoft Office programs
• Ability to quickly master new content areas, effectively prioritize work and meet time-sensitive project goals and metrics
• Strong analytical, decision-making, negotiation and customer service, and written and verbal communication skills are necessary as well
• Strong decision making skills, which may have direct and significant impact on the achievement of department goals
