Fueling Innovation: Your Impactful Duties

• Carry out responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies, procedures, and state, federal, and local laws.
  
• Coordinate activities to identify and resolve common issues, and establish standard administration and validation practices.
  
• Provide technical assistance, training, and work direction to other staff members.
  
• Administer the laboratory computer systems to ensure efficient trouble-free operation.
  
• Develop and communicate project timelines and status to Corporate Information Technology, Laboratory Operations, Laboratory Technical Services, Engineering, and Quality.
  
• Implement new laboratory computerized systems and stand-alone and networked systems.
  
• Configure laboratory computer software such as Empower and LIMS to meet user requirements.
  
• Analyze new and existing equipment/software and recommend modifications as needed.
  
• Train others on the proper use of new equipment/software.
  
• Ensure compliance with regulations.
  

Unlock Your Potential: Requirements for Success

• Bachelor's Degree in Science, preferably Chemistry or a related field, from an accredited university.
  
• At least 8-10 years of combined experience in a laboratory environment, including laboratory bench chemist experience, instrumentation experience, computer network administration experience, and validation experience.
  
• Functional knowledge and hands-on experience in Empower Chromatography Data Software v.3, encompassing general configuration and development of calculated custom fields using laboratory testing methods.
  
• Proficiency in Labware LIMS v.8, covering general configuration, LIMS Basic programming language, Subroutines, and Crystal Reports.
