Job Title: Photo Editor

Job Overview: We are seeking a highly skilled and creative individual to join our team as a Photo and Video Editor with graphic designing skills. In this role, you will be responsible for curating and enhancing visual content, both static images and videos, to align with the creative vision of various projects. The ideal candidate will have expertise in photo and video editing software, a keen eye for detail, and the ability to collaborate effectively with a creative team. Working hours: 10 am to 5 pm EST

Responsibilities:

1. Image and Video Editing:

   • Edit and enhance both photos and videos using industry-standard software (e.g., Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Lightroom, Premiere Pro).
   • Adjust colors, lighting, and sound to achieve the desired visual and auditory impact.

2. Creative Collaboration:

   • Collaborate with photographers, videographers, graphic designers, and other creative professionals to achieve project goals.
   • Interpret creative briefs and contribute innovative ideas to enhance visual storytelling.

3. Quality Control:

   • Ensure all edited images and videos meet quality standards and align with project guidelines.
   • Review and provide constructive feedback on visuals to maintain consistency and brand identity.

4. Multitasking and Deadline Management:

   • Manage multiple projects simultaneously, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

5. File Management:

   • Organize and maintain a structured file system for images and videos to facilitate easy retrieval.
   • Keep track of versions and maintain an organized archive of edited content.

6. Stay Updated on Industry Trends:

   • Stay abreast of the latest trends and techniques in both photography and video editing.
   • Implement innovative and creative solutions to enhance the overall quality of visual content.

7. Communication:

   • Effectively communicate with team members to understand project requirements and expectations.
   • Provide clear and concise feedback to collaborators for continuous improvement.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience as a Photo and Video Editor and a bit of graphic design skills.
• Proficient in photo and video editing software (e.g., Adobe Creative Suite, Final Cut Pro).
• Strong understanding of color correction, retouching, and video post-production techniques.
• Excellent attention to detail and a keen eye for visual and auditory aesthetics.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.
• Knowledge of photography and video trends, as well as industry standards.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
