Job Description: WordPress Web Developer

Position Overview: We are seeking a skilled WordPress Web Developer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, coding, and modifying the Dayone Solutions website, from layout to function and according to specifications. This role requires excellent programming skills, a strong understanding of industry trends, and the ability to work independently and as part of a team. The WordPress Web Developer will also be involved in creating custom themes and plugins, as well as troubleshooting and maintaining existing websites.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Designing and implementing new features and functionality
2. Establishing and guiding the website's architecture
3. Ensuring high-performance and availability, and managing all technical aspects of the CMS
4. Working closely with both the product and marketing teams to achieve the best possible results in web projects from conception right through to delivery
5. Ensuring all work adheres to current industry best practices
6. Creating and maintaining software documentation
7. Staying abreast of developments in web applications and programming languages

Skills and Qualifications:

1. Strong understanding of front-end technologies, including HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, jQuery
2. Experience building user interfaces for websites and/or web applications
3. Experience designing and developing responsive design websites
4. Comfortable working with debugging tools like Firebug, Chrome inspector, etc.
5. Ability to convert comprehensive layout and wireframes into working HTML pages
6. Knowledge of how to interact with RESTful APIs and formats (JSON, XML)
7. Proficient understanding of code versioning tools (such as Git, SVN, etc.)
8. Strong understanding of PHP back-end development
9. Experience with WordPress theme and plugin development
10. Good understanding of website architecture and aesthetics
11. Ability to manage projects and work within a team environment
12. Familiarity with SEO principles and ensuring that the application will adhere to th
13. Excellent communication skills and attention to detail

Preferred Qualifications:

1. Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
2. Experience with other CMS platforms like Drupal, Joomla, etc.
3. Experience with e-commerce platforms like WooCommerce
