Job Description
We are looking for an IT Operations Specialist to join our team. You will be hired in our Gliwice office and then relocate to Denmark for 2-year assignment. This position is to oversee and direct the performance of IT Support activities for Fluor's Project in Denmark. You will be located on our project site and support an international team. This position has a general knowledge within designated Information Technology (IT) area of responsibility that is applied to diverse assignments. This role executes assigned tasks and collaborates on IT projects while exhibiting consistent, current knowledge of new technologies and platforms. Duties & Responsibilities: . Provide initial point of contact to customers respond to concerns, incidents, and service escalations coordinate quick response and resolution of issues and outages
. Utilize technical expertise to research, resolve, and respond, in a timely manner and in accordance with standards, to questions received via telephone calls, texts and/or e-mails
. Organize and coordinate activities associated with installation, deployment and upgrade of software, hardware, and network facilities
. Provide end-users computer training, as required
. Ensure IT security practices are met
. Identify subsequent levels of escalation and escalate as appropriate while maintaining ownership monitor critical local issues through resolution communicate action and progress
. Serve as a communication 'go to person' for IT function
. Ensure system connectivity of all site hardware, shared software, groupware, and other applications
. Serve as 'news reporter' on IT related issues
Basic Job Requirements Requirements . Minimum secondary education, IT/electronics/telecommunication or similar majors preferred
. English language (level C1)
. Knowledge of Windows 10 at the level of an advanced user of the system (diagnostics and troubleshooting)
. Good knowledge of computer hardware: workstations and laptops (diagnostics, minor repairs)
. Ability to communicate effectively with audiences
. Ability to attend to detail and work in a time-conscious and time-effective manner
