Controller/Accounting Manager

Awesome CX by Transcom is looking for talented individuals like you to join our awesome team! Be a Controller/Accounting Manager for Awesome CX by Transcom Davao site. The primary focus for this position will be to support the Controller in driving the accounting close process, reviewing financial statements, and creating formal processes and procedures for our clients. This position will also be responsible for developing and mentoring accounting staff.

Key Responsibilities include:

• Lead cash management initiatives and systems, including forecasting.
• Manage general ledger, month-end close, and reconciliations efficiently.
• Supervise inventory, fixed assets, and payroll.
• Collaborate on projects, execute special projects, and implement policies.
• Provide excellent customer service and assist with filings and audits.
• Ensure compliance, manage files securely, and maintain communication.
• Be receptive to feedback and committed to growth.

What we are looking for:

To be successful in this role you must be/have..

• At least 2 years of work experience as a Financial Controller; preferably for a US-based company or any relevant work
• Strong foundation and practice of concepts such as IAS (International Accounting Standards) and US GAAP (Generally-accepted Accounting Principles)
• Intermediate to Advanced skills in MS Excel
• Proficient in using Quickbooks Online , Netsuite , Oracle , or SAP
• Licensed CPA , or CMA

Preferable but not required:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
