Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role as a Sous Chef at Luxent Hotel in Quezon City. The Sous Chef will be responsible for assisting the Executive Chef in the day-to-day operations of the kitchen, including food preparation, cooking, and ensuring food quality and presentation. The Sous Chef will also supervise kitchen team members, maintain cleanliness and hygiene standards, and collaborate with the culinary team to create new dishes and menus.

Qualifications

• Strong culinary skills and knowledge of international cuisines
• Experience in food preparation and cooking
• Ability to work in a fast-paced kitchen environment
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
• Strong leadership and teamwork abilities
• Knowledge of food safety and sanitation regulations
• Creativity and ability to develop new dishes and menus
• Good communication and interpersonal skills
• Flexibility and ability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays
• Previous experience as a Sous Chef or Chef de Partie is a plus
• A culinary degree or relevant certification is a plus
