PSYCHOLOGIST I

JOB DESCRIPTION
Administers clinical psychological tests;
Interprets and evaluates test result and prepares report;
Performs/conducts individual/group sessions, psychotherapeutic sessions, interviews and counseling;
Attends case conferences and presents psychological diagnosis for the formulation of rehabilitation plans;
Interprets to Social Workers and other members of the Rehabilitation Team the result of psychological tests for proper case management.
Testifies in court when necessary;
Formulates and evaluates rehabilitation plans of clients/residents based on the results of the psychological test.
Recommends the formulation or modification of policies and procedures related to psychological services.
Assumes responsibilities to the on-the-job training of students rendering psychological services and volunteers;
Provides consultation and technical assistance to program staff;
Performs other related tasks.
