Freight Operations Assistant

Our company TKHS GROUP INCORPORATED is currently looking for a dedicated employee to be part of our team.

FREIGHT OPERATION ASSISTANT!

• Graduate of Customs Administration or Logistics Management course preferred a Licensed Customs
• Broker but not required;
• Minimum of one (1) year experience in a position with a similar job description;
• Knowledgeable and proficient in using Microsoft Office programs specifically Excel, word, and PowerPoint.
• Knows how to manifest import/ export shipments in both SEA and AIR
• Knows lodging shipments (Import and Export)

• Responsible for encoding details to Freight Management System (FMS) for job handle to be recognized
• from processing up to billing system for Customs Clearance transaction.
• Responsible for receiving pre-alerts for incoming shipments from overseas agents and principals.
• Responsible for sending Arrival Notices to client – importer – consignee.
• Assist the Operations Supervisor in manifesting activity through the Bureau of Customs (BOC) Value
• Added-Service-Provider (VASP) in compliance with the E2M system.
• Assist and handle the computation of duties and taxes for importation.
• Responsible for lodging a declaration of import and export entries for Bureau of Customs assessment and
• approval including Customs Portal Ticket and prior Customs Representative physical processing to Bureau of Customs.
• Responsible for placing truck bookings for import and export delivery including monitoring and making Pre alert.
• Advises shipping lines/carriers for import and export delivery.
• Coordinate with the Freight Coordinator for planning and any special instruction from the client with
• regards to handling import and export cargoes.
• Handles the payment for Port Charges, Warehouse Charges, Shipping Line Charges, and other
• payments to be made before the release of shipment.
• Responsible for checking the correctness of the truck billings and submitting payment requests for approval of
• the Operations Supervisor or the Operations Manager.
• Perform any other function as assigned by his/her Immediate Leader
