Job Description - Sales Officer

Account & Relationship Management (Sales)

To identify, pursue, and develop potential markets, partners, and channels of distribution for Motorcycle Retail products. Roles and Responsibilities BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT: 

1. Grows and develops assigned Motorcycle accounts and/or programs.
2. Meets the annual sales target of assigned Motorcycle accounts and/or programs (in terms of sales amount and number of enrollments).
3. Identifies unmet insurance needs of assigned Motorcycle accounts and provides inputs for the development of products that would meet these needs, in coordination with subject matter experts within the organization.
4. Cross-sells and up-sells appropriate Pioneer products to existing Motorcycle accounts/clients, in coordination with subject matter experts within the organization.


ACCOUNTS SERVICING:
On-boarding of New Accounts
1. Participates in the on-boarding/orientation of new Motorcycle partners/programs to be conducted by Motorcycle Accounts Acquisition.
2. Takes over the handling of new Motorcycle accounts/programs from Motorcycle Accounts Acquisition within the agreed turnaround time.

Documents Management
3. Validates the compliance of assigned Motorcycle accounts with the standard forms and documentary requirements needed in relation to KYC, Data Privacy Act, Anti- Money Laundering Act, and the likes.
4. Facilitates the updating of contracts (such as but not limited to Memorandum of Agreement, Data Sharing Agreement, etc.) 

Relationship Management
5. Oversees the handling of business requirements of assigned Motorcycle accounts and/or programs.
6. Ensures that assigned Motorcycle accounts comply with the standards and
turnaround time set to ensure proper implementation of a program (enrollment,
remittance of premiums due to Pioneer, and claims), and takes appropriate
measures to achieve standards.
7. Builds relationship with assigned Motorcycle accounts by accomplishing the
identified Trade Servicing plan (rota).
8. Meets the needs and expectations of assigned Motorcycle accounts consistent with the sound business standards of Pioneer.
9. Takes the lead in implementing initiatives to improve the servicing of assigned Motorcycle accounts and administration of the latter’s programs. Enrollment, Sales, Billing & Collection
12. Tracks the enrollments and premium production (sales) of assigned Motorcycle
accounts and/or programs following monitoring standards.
13. Ensures that the billing statements (statements of accounts) of assigned
Motorcycle accounts are released within the standard turnaround time by
coordinating with the personnel in-charge of preparing the said SOAs.
14. Collects premiums due (accounts receivables) of assigned Motorcycle accounts and programs within the standard turnaround time.
15. Monitors premiums due (accounts receivables) of assigned Motorcycle accounts and makes follow-ups in a timely and appropriate manner.
16. Forwards all proofs of payment (deposit slips, checks, screenshots of online fund transfer, and the likes) to Collection Department for posting of payment in Pioneer’s system and issuance of Official Receipt.

Qualifications:

  • Graduate of bachelor's degree course preferably business administration or management.
  • Min. of 3 years in Motor insurance sales
  • Min. of 3 years in accounts acquisition/pursuing new accounts in the context of Motor insurance sales
  • Min. of 3 years of sales fieldwork
  • Background in Marketing is preferred.
