Job Description - Warehouse Supervisor

Job Summary Analyze the process and operations of warehousing. Responsible for developing plans to monitor and manage warehouse facilities, review quality and efficiency of warehouse storage and layout plans. The analytical and logical individual also explores feasible solutions to improve service. Major Responsibilities
Plans, recommends and implements all warehouse activities and relevant inventory management activities to ensure that required materials are available at the right time, quantity and quality.
Analyse the information flow for end to end warehouse processes from order initiation to receiving,handling,distribution and storage.
Analyse the execution of operations according to different warehousing situations and contingencies.
Identifies developmental needs and recommend and implement trainings plans and and programs for inventory management and warehousing staff.
Implements inventory policies and procedures to ensure efficient warehousing and inventory management activities.
Implementation of warehousing plans and programs to ensure achievement of department objectives.
Oversees all incoming and outgoing shipment activities to ensure accuracy, completeness and condition of shipment.
Follows safety precautions in all areas.
Performs other functions as may be assigned by the Warehouse Department Head
EDUCATION : Graduated of any 4 Year Course Experience
At least 2 years of working experience in the related field is required for this position.
Preferably 1-4 years experience employee specialized in Purchasing/Inventory/Material & Warehouse Management or equivalent.
