[Q&A Team] Text-Based Tutoring (Work Anywhere, Anytime. No Boss. No Heavy PC Requirements)

HOW TO APPLY?

1. PREPARE!

Prepare the following and take a CLEAR picture/screenshot:

•  1 copy of your education/teaching background (e.g. college degree, teaching certificate, professional license, transcript of records, screenshot of grades)

*If more than 1 page, convert to PDF file

*Document must exemplify your subject matter expertise in the subject(s) you will select

• 1 government-issued ID or School ID
• 1 selfie of yourself holding the same ID next to your face 

2. CLICK!

Go to this page https://bit.ly/GrabJobsTutor. Click apply now!

3. CREATE!

Create your Course Hero account using your email address, username, password.

• Do not sign up with Facebook or Google (auto reject)
• Don’t exit and complete the whole session before the 10 minute expiration runs out 

4. SELECT!

Select the subjects that you want to tutor in. As a Course Hero Tutor, you are allowed to choose 1 to 15 subjects but make sure it is in line with your educational background. Once approved, you can't change or add subjects anymore.

5. FILL IN!

Fill in your personal details and submit the requirements. Do not forget to put the referral code NOC (to prioritize your application and more chances of getting approved). Do not select “high school” on the highest level of education (will be auto rejected).

6. SUBMIT!

Submit requirements. NO INTERVIEWS AFTER SIGNING UP. They will assess your application based on the requirements submitted. That's why it's important to FOLLOW INSTRUCTIONS. It often takes 5-7 days to process your application, sometimes sooner. After you get accepted, email me again so that I can send you a TUTOR KIT.

IMPORTANT REMINDERS TO AVOID REJECTION:

1. Do not submit your resume or cv to the platform.

2. Do not submit blurry pictures, small files, and wrong documents.

3. At least 50% of the subjects you choose must be related to your expertise.

4. Ensure that you have a stable internet connection while processing the application.

5. Make sure to block time for the application as you may not be able to continue it if you leave the site for some time.

6. Prepare the requirements first and take a CLEAR picture/screenshot (must be in line with the subjects you will select to tutor).

7. If your document has more than 1 page, please convert it to a PDF file so we can see all the pages. You are only allowed to upload one document.

8. Make sure that the documents are correct and complete. Incomplete supporting documents will automatically be rejected.

9. Pictures of the documents must be with your complete name and school name, include dry seal (if possible), and do not crop out pictures.

10. Always check your email or spam folder for updates on your application!

HOW DOES IT WORK?

When you log in as a Tutor, you’ll be prompted to select which of your approved subject(s) you’d like to start with. Then, you’ll see one question in your selected subject at a time. This question is reserved exclusively for you. You can review and decide whether you’d like to answer or skip the question. If you skip it, you’ll be prompted to tell us why. Once you’ve answered a question, the student will be notified of your answer and you will be shown a new question.
