For this position, the perfect Rhino should have the following skills:

5+ years of experience as a Platform Engineer

Proficiency with Infrastructure as Code using Terraform and CloudFormation, including authoring and maintaining reusable templates for governance and base configuration enforcement

Demonstrated ability to administer core AWS services — S3, Glue, Redshift, Lake Formation, DataZone, MWAA, and Step Functions — in a platform engineering or consulting context

Strong command of identity and access management through IAM Identity Center, Entra ID Federation, and RBAC, including role and group administration and participation in access reviews

Working knowledge of Data Governance practices such as metadata standards, data lineage, and data product publishing workflows within platforms like DataZone

Ability to implement and maintain operational controls including monitoring, alerting, logging, incident management, operational automation, and release management, with delivery aligned to SDLC standards

Fluency in English (C1 Level)

Availability for remote model, based in Portugal (candidates must already be based in Portugal, with Portuguese or EU citizenship or a valid work permit)
