We are looking to recruit a passionate and dedicated French Teacher in our Middle & High School Division to join ACS International School Doha, Qatar. The ideal candidate will be responsible for instructing students at various levels, fostering a positive learning environment and contributing to the overall academic success of our students.

Reporting to: Head of World Languages

Work Experience: Minimum 3 years of teaching experience.

Requirements:

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Education, French or a related field
• Teaching Qualification or licensure in French Language Education.
• Experience teaching French in an international school preferred IB(MYP, DP)

Knowledge and Skills

• Ability to adapt teaching methods to accommodate diverse student needs.
• Strong knowledge of French literature and history.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities :

• Plan and deliver well-structures lessons that align with curriculum standards and educational goals.
• Teach French language skills including listening, speaking, reading and writing.
• Develop and implement creative teaching methods to engage students and enhance language learning.
• Utilize a variety of resources, including textbooks, multimedia materials and online tools to enhance the learning experience.
• Assess students progress through assignments, exams and projects, providing timlmely feedback and guidance.
• Participate in parent- teacher meetings to discuss student progress and provide recommndations for improvement.
• Provide additional support to students who need extra assistance in mastering the language.
