QC Mechanical Inspector (Welding + NDT + Painting ) M/F Job title QC Mechanical Inspector (Welding + NDT + Painting ) M/FContract type Temporary work contractContractual hours Full time12 monthsWe currently have an opportunity within SPIE Oil & Gas Services Qatar LLCQC Inspector MechanicalPrimary ResponsibilitiesBe fully aware of the Project Quality and HSE requirementsReview and prepare project information manual, evaluation instruction and proceduresSupport QC Manager to plan and carry out Quality Audits during EPCC phasePlan, carry out and report Quality Surveillance activities with respect to on-site activities, internally in EPCC Contractors’ organization including SubcontractorsCoordinate and support QC Manager in reporting of lessons learntPlan and coordinate to conduct Quality audits and follow-up on Quality related non-conformancesCoordinate with Discipline Leads to ensure that all EPCC works are performed in accordance with the Project Quality requirementsFollow up EPCC Contractor implementation of the accepted QC Procedures for on-site activities and report any non-conformity to the QC ManagerCoordinate for inspection witness and hold points as per the approved Quality Control PlanFollow up all Site NCR in area of responsibility and ensure proper actions and documentationReview all Site QC reports received from Contractor and report any deviations in coordination with Discipline LeadsControl and monitor Site Quality Observation and Site Non-conformances and ensure implementation of corrective and preventive actionsEnsure implementation of the Qafco 7 Contract requirements in area of responsibility and report any deviation to the Project Manager through the line responsibleProfile Advanced Diploma in relevant discipline from a recognized University10+ years direct and relevant experience related to Quality Control in oil/gas or petrochemical or fertiliser industry.You will have good interpersonal and organizational skills, as well as a good level of computer literacy and be proficient in Microsoft Office.SPIE Oil & Gas Services is committed to promote diversity.
