We are hiring a Cost Engineer for our prestigious client based in Saudi Arabia / South Korea Role: Cost Engineer Job Location: 1 year Training program in South Korea. After the training, the candidate will be deputed to Near Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. Client Industry: Oil & Gas ( EPC ) Virtual Interview Date : 11th and 12th May Walkin Inteview Date: 17th 18th19th May 2024 Place: Chennai ( Venue to be confirmed later ) Overview: The Cost Engineer is responsible for managing construction costs based on subcontracts during the EPC Project execution stage. Key Responsibilities Update subcontract status and summarize major changes for ongoing projects. Be in charge of the internal system to manage construction costs and instruct global staff at the site. Performs or supervises project cost control activities and improves internal managing processes. Calculate and record the cost impact caused by the change order. Discover frequent change orders with subcontractors to minimize the grey zone between bidding and execution. Simulate subcontractor’s cash flow and verify bottleneck considering invoice status. Organize the history of all claims, change orders, and back charges under subcontract. Skills Experience: 5+ years of experience in cost estimates and contracts. Project-based experience within Oil and Gas industry or Petrochemical industry Comprehensive knowledge of oil/gas/petrochemical or power plant construction issues and the cost/schedule/risk factors associated.
