Manager, IT Portfolio

The purpose of this role is to support the Director, IT Strategic Planning by ensuring strategic plans are implemented and monitoring the performance and execution of those plans to achieve the objectives and deliver the strategy.

Key Accountabilities:

• Responsible for Program Management of all enterprise SW development/deployment for all functions, including Manufacturing, Engineering, Customer Experience (Sales), and Back Office (HR/Finance/Procurement).

• Responsible for Project Management/Delivery of critical or high visibility “Special Projects” as designated by the CIO, including management of project managers.

• Lead the IT project budget planning, including monthly/annual actuals reporting and variance analysis.

• Maintain technology governance frameworks, policies, and procedures in alignment with industry standards, regulatory requirements, and best practices.

• Monitor regular coordination with project managers, team members, and other key stakeholders to manage and monitor project quality closely.

• Develop proper vendor evaluation documentation as per PMO policy and procedure.

• Provide leadership, mentoring, and coaching to all Staff and other project stakeholders as and when required.

• Design Frameworks within which projects are created, managed, and completed.

• Governance and Risk Management: Leading IT projects' strategic planning and governance, this includes defining project management methodologies and ensuring compliance with best practices.

Qualifications:

Education:

• Bachelor’s degree in business management or a relevant major.

• Master’s degree is preferred.

• PMP certification is preferred.

• Ability to adapt and work in a startup mode environment and deal with a high level of ambiguity.

• Ability to lead a team.

Experience:

• Minimum of 10 years in IT or related discipline.

• Experience in Portfolio/Program/Project Management.

• Experience in the automotive industry is preferred.
