Responsibilities:
- Dailycommunication with project team members, clients, andcontractors
- Read/interpretproject plans, drawings, andspecifications
- Variousinspections including underground utilities, road and/or bridgeitems and report discrepancies to ProjectEngineer
- FollowQA/QCpractices/procedures
- Ensurework is compliant with plans, contractorsubmittals
- Measure,calculate, and determine quantities of assigned work and/orinstalledmaterials
- Ensureinstalled materials meet specifications and testingrequirements
- PrepareDaily Inspector s Reports and review otherreports
Requirements:
- AssociatesDegree in Civil Technologyrequired
- Bachelors Degree in Construction Management or Civil Engineeringpreferred
- 5+years of construction/inspectionexperience
- 5+years of experience in bridge/roadway constructioninspection
- Experienceworking on Michigan constructionprojects
- MDOTcertificationspreferred
- Experiencewith Bluebeam, Fieldbook, and MicrosoftOffice
