JOB DESCRIPTION (Indian National only)
Qualification: Food Technologist or Food Scientist
1. Develop the new / revised samples in laboratory by himself.
2. Wherever required apply the prepared trial samples on finished product according to the SOP and
conduct sensory evaluation with sensory panel. Keep the record of sensory evaluation with proper
traceability.
3. Make COAs, dosage, application method and approved selling prices of trial samples and submit
to sales with trial samples timely.
4. Provide approved products specifications to Quality department with packing size and packing
instructions.
5. Keep in co-ordination with UAE R&D and keep record of given directions by him.
6. Prepare and submit the sample(s) according to customer requirement, to admin / warehouse in
charge to dispatch to regional sales head through courier / company driver respectively and
update on respective WhatsApp group timely.
7. Retain the samples of references of customer and trial samples produced with proper
identification and arrangement.
8. Daily update the working progress in tracking sheet.
9. Co-ordinate with purchase for material requirement and keep updating sales of trial samples
submission tentative dates.
10. Maintain and update the recipes record in provided standard format with costing detail.
11. Monthly update the raw material rates in record sheet for recipe costing purpose.
12. Maintain a master sheet of all submitted Schone recipes costing having selling prices and GP
margin.
13. Email to purchase and supply chain in case of new ingredient is adding in trial samples for future
raw material requirement.
14. Maintain the stock of raw materials, packaging materials and utensils in laboratory for developing
samples with proper identification and arrangement.
15. Maintain the updated regulatory standards of GCC for permissible ingredients and their allowable
limits.
16. Retain the ingredients samples provided by purchase and keep record with analysis report.
17. Develop base lots according to purchase order as per plan in self-supervision.
18. Keep MSL of raw materials required for making base lots.
19. Perform monthly inventory of Schone Salt lot’s ingredients and submit to Finance department in
given time.
20. Submit the BOM requirement of raw material of Schone recipes according to forecast to Supply
Chain department.
21. Provide weekly training to operation staff at start of the shift upon decided topics.
23. Take part in internal and external audits.
24. Keep the record readily accessible, updated with proper tracking.
25. Submit daily, weekly, and monthly progress reports to supervisor and Director KSA. Also, present
in regular meetings.
