Join the Appspace team and be a part of a culture that’s helping people everywhere love where they work.Your Role as a Sales Engineer:As a Sales Engineer, you will partner with our Account Executives in a pre-sales technical role, showcasing Appspace product solutions, setting up demonstrations, and explaining features and benefits to customers and partners. Additionally, you will partner with our Customer Success and Enhanced Services teams as a post-sales subject matter expert to drive existing account expansion via new feature demonstration, client use case consultation, and custom project scoping and implementation. The Sales Engineer must understand customer business needs and use this understanding to define a solution that fits those requirements and allows the customer to have scalability and flexibility for future needs. This position requires excellent communication skills on both a technical and business level with stellar interpersonal and presentation skills.A Day in the Life of a Sales Engineer:Provide technical and sales support for assigned and prospective customersTake the lead on moving opportunities through the sales process from a technical perspective, knowing when to engage other team members for success and closurePerform technical presentations for customers, partners, and prospectsAssist with developing formal sales plans and proposals for assigned opportunities, selling at the solution and architectural level.Ability to understand complex customer technical and business situations and identify where Appspace solutions can provide value.Act as an SME for ongoing implementations and deployments to provide solutions that fit customer use cases.Collaborate with our Enhanced Services team and Customer Success team to ensure proposed solutions are properly scoped and, ultimately, successful.Help drive account and partner relationship buildingKeeping up-to-date on relevant competitive solutions, products, and servicesWhat You’ll Need:Ability to build strong customer relationships leading to trusted advisor status within customer and partner baseIn-depth knowledge of baseline pre-sales product and engineering skillsKnowledge of relevant solutions sets, product line specifications, performance criteria, and applications of useCompetitive knowledge (in the areas of digital media and content management, space management, room booking)Excellent written and verbal communication, listening, negotiation, and presentation skillsAbility to work effectively across teams and collaborate with a variety of departments.Demonstrated history of exhibiting technical knowledge and consultative skillsPrior sales, sales engineering, or solution architect experience preferredBachelor’s Degree and minimum 5 years professional experience (Computer Science/Information Technology and Engineering fields preferred but not required)The Perks of Working for Appspace:For all our team members, we offer a variety of benefits from competitive salaries, employer paid medical, dental and vision coverage and mental health resources.Additional perks include:Remote work opportunitiesA casual dress work environment1/2 day Friday'sTraining allowanceTraining days offDisclaimer:Appspace Inc. is an equal opportunity employer.
