Senior Environmental Consultant

The Role:

WKC is offering an opportunity for the role of a Senior Environmental Consultant. The role is based in our Riyadh office with a focus on environmental permitting for a wide range of sectors and services.

Responsibilities:

1. EIA/ESIA Project management and report writing, for large scale and high profile projects.
2. Project coordination and delivery of KSA led Projects, utilising the wider WKC network.
3. Be familiar and have experience of working in the jurisdiction of the Royal Commission, NCEC, and Saudi Aramco.
4. Management, training, and career progression of Environmental Graduates and Engineers. The candidate will manage a team of at least two junior staff members.
5. Provide technical review and mentorship for junior team members to improve report quality and clarity.
6. Preparation of Environmental Management Plans (such as CEMP and OEMP).
7. Preparation of commercial and technical proposals.
8. Be a key member of the business development team and bring new opportunities to WKC.
9. Management of relationships with key Clients. Existing relationships to be incorporated into WKC's Client base.
10. Provide unique technical expertise in at least one field of competence, for example groundwater, waste, air, or noise environment.

Candidate Requirements / Skills:

• At least 5 years experience of working in KSA/Middle East in the environmental sector.
• BSc Degree in environmental engineering / environmental science or related disciplines.
• Excellent report writing skills for preparation of technical reports.
• Excellent proficiency in MS Office Suite.
• Attention-to-detail, meticulous organizational skills.
• Abilities to multi-task and meet stringent deadlines.
