Careers at Bone Marrow Donor Programme, The

The Bone Marrow Donor Programme saves the lives of patients who will die unless they can have a bone marrow or blood stem cell transplant. Our work entails reaching out into the community to educate the public and sign them up as volunteer donors; and to provide a vital service to the transplant hospitals to find the matching donors that their patients need to survive.

With 80,000 donors on the register, the BMDP is the largest volunteer community in Singapore and with 6 people in Singapore diagnosed with a blood disease every day, the BMDP will expand significantly over the next five years.
