The Fäthfamily business with headquarter in Eschau-Hobbach was found in 2004 by Michael Faeth and has developed into a group of business worldwide. The group provides standard to high purity systems to the semiconductor, photovoltaic, LED and pharmaceutical industries.

In March 2016, Fäth Group joined forces with Bürkert Group, one of the world's leading manufacturers of measurement and control systems for liquids and gases. On the basis of this cooperation with Bürkert, the Fäth Group is enabled to strengthen their business activities and gain further opportunities for sustainable growth and diversification of their product lines. Moreover, the participation of Bürkert guarantees the continuation of Fäth as a family-owned business.

In August 2019, the Fäth brothers withdrew from the Management and transferred their business shares to Bürkert, making it 100% fully owned by Bürkert.

The current headquarter of Fäth GmbH is located at Klipphausen.
