INTRODUCTION

Lita Ocean was founded in Singapore in the late 1970s by Managing Director, Mr K H Yeo. The company started operations as a tug and barge operator in the regional trade. Key services we provided were transportation of sludge and explosive cargo. In a few years, we expanded to provide floating crane, tank cleaning, landing craft and emergency oil spill response services.

In the late 1990s, the company took over the current waterfront premises and ventured into shipbuilding and shipyard services. We identified an increasing niche demand in the region for lightweight and fast boats. As the benefits of using aluminium in boat construction gained popularity, we became a specialist in aluminium shipbuilding.
