As part of Merck's Animal Health, MSD Animal Health Innovation Pte Ltd was built from scratch and started to operate in January 2000. The centre's main goal is to perform R&D to produce high quality Aquatic Animal Health (AAH) products and application strategies for the Asia-Pacific region. The centre is located at the Lim Chu Kang Agri-Bio Park in Singapore. The focus is on R&D to generate vaccines against bacterial and viral diseases for a wide range of warm-water fish and shellfish species. Close collaboration occurs with other MSD Animal Health centres, leading universities and institutes.
