Shape Optics Technologies Pte Ltd (SOT) is a Singapore-based precision optical engineering company dedicated to unlocking the full potential of light in industrial, scientific, and commercial applications. Founded in 2015 and headquartered at Prestige Centre, #09-10, 71 Bukit Batok Crescent, Singapore 658071, SOT brings together a team of highly skilled optical engineers with over 20 years of collaborative industry experience. 

At the core of SOT’s mission is the belief that optical innovation transforms performance — whether in imaging systems, laser processing, illumination, sensing or photonics. We aim to partner with clients as an extension of their R&D teams, guiding projects from early-stage concept through prototyping, to volume manufacturing.

• Optical system reverse engineering & consultancy: For clients with legacy systems or challenging performance issues, we provide reverse-engineering support and consultancy. 

Our Materials & Manufacturing Capabilities

SOT works with a wide and advanced set of optical materials — spanning from BK7, fused silica, germanium (Ge), zinc selenide (ZnSe), to various infrared (IR) and crystalline substrates. sot.com.sg Our manufacturing capabilities include precision grinding, CNC machining, double-sided polishing, rotational polishing and advanced coating technologies such as Ion Beam Sputtering (IBS), Ion-Assisted Deposition (IAD) and Electron-Beam (EB) coatings.

We place high emphasis on metrology and quality: our design process always factors manufacturability and testability, and we validate optical performance through rigorous inspection of alignment, surface figure, centration and coating quality.
