Job Description

Oversee and manage all accounting activities, ensuring compliance with IFRS and internal accounting policies
Support external and internal audits, ensuring timely and accurate documentation
Manage financial reporting systems, including data entry and report generation
Establish and maintain robust processes for intercompany reconciliations and account analysis
Ensure accurate application of percentage-of-completion (POC) accounting
Prepare monthly and quarterly financial reports, including sub-consolidated statements
Support financial analysis and reporting for management review
Assist in budgeting and forecasting processes, including ad hoc financial analysis
Provide recommendations to enhance financial policies, procedures, and controls
Support implementation and optimisation of financial systems and tools
Handle local tax matters and compliance requirements
Support banking activities, including letters of credit (LC) and bond-related matters

The Successful Applicant

Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related discipline
Open to applicants coming out of Big 4 looking for commercial exposure
Strong knowledge of IFRS and financial reporting standards
Experience with SAP or similar ERP systems
Solid understanding of project accounting (including POC accounting)
Strong analytical skills with attention to detail and accuracy
Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
Effective communication skills and ability to work cross-functionally with global stakeholders
Proactive, hands-on approach with strong ownership and accountability
Experience in project management or system implementation is an advantage
